To understand crypto and all its activities such as trading, mining, work, etc, we should first understand what it really is at its core and why it is safe for a teenager to explore making money on it.

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency stored on a blockchain, and blockchains are chains of data on the internet secured by cryptography. Every activity and transaction on any blockchain is recorded publicly on the blockchain providing transparency yet keeping its security.

Cryptocurrency itself is completely decentralized, meaning it isn’t regulated by any governing authority. However, it can still be exchanged via centralized or decentralized platforms.
